My owner didn't know that my frog had been eaten out by Thrush.
The farrier treated it with iodine crystals which numbed the nerve
ending that were exposed to air and dirt. On the second shoeing, I
still had some thrush, but we treated it with Nitrofurazone, a solution
that my farrier learned about from RT Goodrich. The thrush cleared up
after my third shoeing.
