I'm an Arab who specializes in endurance events.  My owner provided these plastic shoes for my front feet which absorb more shock than metal shoes.  The shoe has a built-in rocker toe and clips that have to be glued in.  The farrier filled in the hole in the center of the shoe with Vettec Soft material that further cushioned my foot and helped to prevent the shoes from shifting from sided to side.

The hind shoes are concave steel with tungsten tipped nails to give me more traction and durability.
